Our children have had no end of excitement this spring
watching egg after egg hatch in the incubator.
and put them into the incubator.
Twenty-one days later they started hatching!
They are the cutest little things!
Black ones, brown ones, speckled ones, yellowish ones.
And Jonathan was awed at how, at two days old, they know to tip their heads back to swallow the water they drink--
as if to remember always to thank the heavenly Father Who cares for them!
Of course these pics are of chicks a little older.
Also in early April,
Jonathan found an encouraging clip on Facebook which he sent to me for my blog.
It said:
"Apologizing does not always mean that you are wrong and the other person
is right. It just means that you value your RELATIONSHIP more than your
EGO."
As a wise old preacher from India said, "It's more important to be humble than to be right."
It's comforting to know that the issue is not so much about who is right or wrong as about who is willing to be humble.

And another clip Jonathan forwarded to me was:
"You can't start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the last one."
Paul wrote, "But this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,
Paul wrote, "But this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,
I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."
