Worshipping--With Flowers

There is more than one way to worship God.
There is prayer, going to church, reading one's Bible, singing, praising God, testifying, shouting praises, whispering adoration, lifting hands, bowing on one's knees.
There is also picking flowers to beautify God's sanctuary, arranging them into a bouquet, and taking them to church to set on the piano.

Of course, a person can take flowers without worshiping, just as a person can sing or pray or even shout praises, without worshiping at all or without our heart being involved.  But sometimes, picking flowers for Christ and His church and to bless His people, is a beautiful way to worship.
These flowers are from Hannah's garden, and when I suggested she pick one of her pink gladioli and make a flower arrangement for church, she gladly did so.
But getting up Monday morning (and all the days of the week) to go about our daily duties, with the motive of the glory of God, is also a form of worship.
To bring flowers to beautify a church sanctuary on Sunday is no more beautiful to God than wiping the kitchen counter on Monday, mopping the floor on Thursday, and scrubbing the toilet on Saturday.
Because, it seems to me, as to many others who have discovered the importance of the mundane to our Father, that simply doing the will of God--even in the common duties of life,
is an acceptable--and most beautiful--form of worship to our God.
