My Aunt and Uncle Gone Within a Week of Each Other

Last Saturday my mom's youngest sister, Kay, passed away, exactly one week after my Uncle Jack, brother-in-law of both Kay and my mom, passed away.
I found this picture from my blog 12 years ago when our family traveled to Florida on a Mission Helps trip and spent part of a day and overnight with my Aunt Rhonwen and Uncle Jack in Palm Harbor, Florida, where they lived at that time. Aunt Kay and her late husband Pete helped pick us up at the airport, too.
Jack is on the right, with his beaming face, in front of his wife, Aunt Rhonwen. And Kay is wearing the bright pink top and her bright smile.
Kay had begun a relationship with the Lord and was enjoying her church family and Bible study group before dementia entered her life. A dear lady named Bonnie contributed largely to her care for the last several years.
Kay did not know about Jack's passing, but at 9:30 Saturday evening, she slipped away, at about the same exact time Uncle Jack slipped away one week earlier.
Their funerals will be back to back next Friday, October 30th at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Gardens and
Funeral Services. Uncle Jack's will be at 10, and Aunt Kay's will be at 11:30. Our family is pitching together to send my brother Elon down to Florida to represent our family since my mom is unable to attend the funerals.

In case there is someone who has time and is just curious, here are the obituaries. I posted memories on both sites.
