My Brother Fain and Regina Visit--and Elon in Florida for Funerals

Monday my brother Fain and Regina arrived on their way home from visiting my other brother in North Dakota. It was so good to see them again!
Crystal sneaked this picture of us visiting Monday evening.
And she got this one of us playing Probe the next evening, a game similar to Hangman in that we have to guess letters to come up with the word the other person has hidden under the hinged tabs. We did words related to autumn, such as "cranberries," "harvest," and "Thanksgiving."
Fain installed two storm doors for us, and Regina helped me put up a couple pumpkins and was such a help in the kitchen, even cleaning the stove!
Thursday my brother Elon flew down to Florida to represent Mom and the rest of our family at the memorial services for my Uncle Jack, (husband to Rhonwen), and Aunt Kay, who had suffered with dementia for years.
To our amazement, both of them passed away at 9:30 on a Saturday evening one week apart, just as my dad had passed away at 9:30 on a Saturday evening!
"It's giving me goosebumps!" Mom marveled.
A very special coincidence.
Our family went together to help get Elon's ticket and rental car and flowers for the services. He got this orchid for my aunt's service...
and these beautiful red and white roses for Uncle Jack's service. It was put in front of the podium and was just beautiful there.
How we have prayed for Uncle Jack and the rest of the Morgan clan in recent days! Jack was able to be up and around until very close to the day he died.
The memorial services were back to back, with Jack's service and burial first and then right back in for Aunt Kay's service and burial. What a difficult day that must have been for the families!
If you zoom in above, you can see the wooden plaque that my cousin is pointing at. Our Tim laser woodburned it for me and sent it to Uncle Jack, but Jack passed away before it arrived. It says "Jesus Savior Pilot Me," and has a navy man at the helm of the ship (remembering Jack's navy days)  with Jesus piloting the ship through the waves toward the sunset. It touched me that Uncle Jack's family wanted it on the table of memorabilia.
I would like to post pictures of the relatives but without their permission first, I'll refrain.
But they did get a picture of all the cousins together from the Morgan side of the family, plus a few other relatives who flew down for the services.
Meanwhile, the happy hunters were finishing their hunt and getting out of the mountains before more rain came. Near where they hunted, the town of Pagosa Springs, CO, was being deluged with rain and there had been devastating flashfloods.
As it was, one of the guys got his truck stuck so badly that it took three other pickups with three chains to get him pulled out! Another man got stuck, too! Rose wrote that this was the most adventuresome hunting trip they've had yet! Difficulties, however, do not deter the young adventurers from going all over again the next year!
Hannah had gotten a youth tag, but was disappointed to not get an elk.  Still she had fun with the whole deal! And today the hunting group is putting up three elk and one buck deer!
