A Wedding of Wild Flowers

True to the nature of our beautiful, wild prairie Rose, her wedding was chock full of wild flowers!

Cowboy boots had vases of wild flowers placed inside to decorate the center aisle of the outdoor wedding.

Jonathan took a bunch of girl cousins (and one of their boyfriends!) somewhere where they could gather blue wild iris, yellow alpine flowers, and purple lupine.
Treasured moments!
They brought home buckets of flowers.
I couldn't resist this beautiful scene--cousins Carrie and Natasha.
Several cousins working together to decorate the reception with wild flowers.
Little Kari, Jed's oldest.

Wedding coordinator, Susanna Bradford, a florist, brought flowers for the bride's and maids' bouquets,

but the flowers for decor were all wild! I loved it.

Polishing the boots for the flowers.
Little Tanner sitting in the middle of the decor, Jed's little one who has been through a year of treatment for brain cancer. He is doing well, though he has a ways to go to regain normal mobility and strength.
Some of the flowers were put in glass canning jars and then hung from shepherds' hooks at the front and back of the wedding site.

Will they stay fresh till the wedding morning?
