The Great Hunt of 2025

Five of our children plus several other young people participated in the Great 2025 Elk and Deer Hunt.

This photo just arrived today from Tim, who got his buck near where he lives in Colorado.

Earlier, on the first evening of elk season in the mountains, Sam bagged a cow elk! Then his friend DJ Hagerty got a bull elk!

I enjoyed reading Danny's list (above) of items to take along for the hunt--including purposeful misspellings!

The newest hunter--our precious little dolly who is so loved and happy in the photos they send of her.

No end of new trinkets to play with in the hunters' tent!

Definitely she must check out how this hanger tastes!

Ellie's mommy Rose finished making her very own moccasins, her first try at making moccasins from the deer hide she tanned herself. I think those are pretty amazing for her first moccasins!
